Return to Soda Bottles

Clothes made of polyester, or clothes without wrinkles. I clearly can’t have both, so I must choose.

That was my one nice generic professional skirt too. I’m pissed. I hate ironing.

I think every college student (save perhaps the business majors, but they don’t count) has one “generic professional” outfit to wear what looking, well, generic and professional is required. I have a piece I refer to as my “responsible adult” blouse, because I only wear it to interviews/meetings/other such places where I have to pretend I’m a responsible adult. And damned if the sartorial equivalent of the Adult Contemporary radio station won’t help that along.

Um, it’s probably dorky to make a comment longer than the post that it’s commenting on. And even dorkier to comment about that (ad infinitum…). But since when has that stopped me?

I just wore my “generic professional” outfit to volunteer at a summit and ended up at the humane society…there are even holes in the shirt now because cats “like me” (in other words, they attach themselves to me using claws that are much too pointy to be stuck intom me. I couldn’t even ask someone to help me remove the cats, because they liked to attach to a certain area of my chest that I don’t want complete strangers touching…)
and my lovely dress-pants are all muddy. at least I didn’t get dog poop on them.
