Friday Random Ten-and-Seven
Monday is Monday, but Friday is Thursday, isn’t it? Also, I need a plugin for iTunes that will display the current song on the menubar or something. Since I usually listen on full-library shuffle mode, I rarely have any idea what’s playing.
- The Be Good Tanyas - Blue Horse - Dogsong
- Laura Illeborg - Sværger & Lover - Himalaya
- Robben-Island Prison Singers - Y’zinga - Amandla! A Revolution in Four-Part Harmony
- Kékélé - Congo Life - Lili
- Smølferne - Smølfehits Vol. 1 - Smølfeleg
- Chumbawamba - Special “Fuck You, Joerg Haider” CD Single - Enough Is Enough (Kick It Over)
Just below this on the Chumbawamba download page is “Tony”, which I suggest you all download and croon along to in honour of you-know-what. - Liz Carroll - Lost in the Loop - The Didda/Fly And Dodger
- Värttinä - Seleniko - Fanfaari
- Tempest - Sunken Treasures - Winding Road
- Bela Fleck - Perpetual Motion - Cello Suite #1 In G, BWV 1007 - Prelude

I found one for Windows, but that’s no help. I haven’t really looked yet, though; I’ll report back if I find anything.
I think the last two search requests would make a good Lovecraftian horror story, somehow.

Are there actually ever any wimmins in Lovecraft? I seem to not remember such. (Did the hilariously po-facedly annotated Penguin modern classic editions make it to the FDR?)

Naturally the vagina would belong to the slugs.
Dunno about the Penguins, they mostly make it over here but I am not up on my po-faced annotation availabilities.

So it seems the thing to get is iTunes Track. The iTunes plugin for Quicksilver will flash up a window when the track changes, but iTunes Track is a persistent window.
