I was informed by our campsite-neighbors that a bear had been treed by a bear-treeing Park Service dog in just the place where I put my tent, the night before I put it there. Even if that was a made-up bear there were still lots of signs about bears, and federal law still requires that you employ standard not-getting-eaten-by-a-bear measures.
Harvestbird: eek!
Loyd: Done! But most of them were of where I tied the thermometers.</description>
