All weekend I tried for the glowing-flower effect seen here, but it never quite worked the way I wanted it to - my camera has some remarkably unhelpful autofocus algorithms, and then there was that whole "teaching and learning" bit in the way of photography. With a bit of clever desaturating, though, this one turned out okay.
