Plain Text Styles
Plain Jane
It ain't pretty, but it works: black-on-white, underlined links, almost
everything defined in ems for easy scaling. This is the one to try if
you're having problems.
Garish Yellow
I've always wanted to do a yellow-and-magenta layout. Now I have. I feel
so strong!
Olive Greens
A variant on garish yellow, without the garish or the yellow.
Monochrome
Gray boxes with gray borders. Warning: small type!
Printer-Friendly
This is not recommended in any way for normal browsing - all
the navigation links have been hidden. On all reasonable browsers, this
style will automatically be used for printed copies; I'm only including
it here for completeness, and so people with unreasonable browsers can
hack their way to a decent printout. Why anyone would want to print this
stuff is beyond me, of course, but there you have it.
Background Images
Potato Leaf Tomato SeedlingOne of my surprise seedlings. Verdana, Helvetica and a variable-width content area.
Five Petals
A pretty flower from my own photo archives. Girliest style ever: small
verdana type with salmon-pink links.
Uncle Ole
My great-great-uncle Ole, the famous Norwegian reindeer herder, makes a
cameo appearance. This is one of my favorites, but several people have
claimed the silver-on-black is hard to read.
Warrior Jess
A friend of mine is dressed to kill, and also blue for some reason. Serif fonts and a
variable-width content area.
