Martin Luther King, Jr., Geologist

Although other bloggers are using the excuse of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day to assert that this nationalist saint is a patron of their pet causes, whatever they be, I speak with assurance when I say that I have found an aspect of the man’s character hitherto unrealized by the axe-grinding punditry: Martin Luther King, Jr. believed geology holds the key to progress. To prove it, I quote:

Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

See? Rocks! And quicksand! This is totally going on my next grant proposal.

Heh, I guessed and googled just like Gengar – but not before I tried to figure out whether or not “Zombie blackface Herbert Hoover!” was a funny answer.
